7+ Best Slack Alternatives 2022: The Ultimate Comparison

Slack Alternative

Are your team’s actions constricted to the limitations of your current communication platform? To put your search to an end, I’ve listed down the best Slack alternatives for 2022.

I’ve been a digital marketer for over a decade and have used multiple of these throughout the years. I have seen which have great features and those that are not worth your company’s time.

If you want to determine the best Slack alternatives that your business can use, this article is a great start.

Let’s begin!

1. Slack Alternative: Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams

Best Communications Platform For Professionals [Free | $5 a month]

Microsoft Teams is an excellent communication platform with its popularity even surpassing Slack’s.

Let me show you some proof.

In the image below, Statista displays a graph on how Microsoft Teams has been gaining more users throughout the years. In the same chart, you can see how the software has already overtaken Slack’s number of daily users.

Slack vs Microsoft teams

Although it has been getting a lot of attention in the industry, getting started with it requires a lot of patience and time.

Setting up with Microsoft Teams is quite intimidating compared to Slack.

But this hindrance isn’t stopping companies and users from migrating, as you can see in the graph above.

This is because the software is a great collaboration tool with various functionality.

What I love about it is how it allows teams to edit files in real time without opening additional applications.

It also works well for every staple office application most companies use, like Word, Excel, and  Powerpoint.

Microsoft Teams can help with collaborations within and outside the organization when it comes to project management and sourcing activities.
